Srinagar: J&K Yateem Foundation handed over 10 Medical Oxygen Cylinders to District Administration Bandipora for better management to benefit COVID positive patients in the district.
The consignment was received by District Development Commissioner Dr Owais Ahmad, IAS himself through JKYF Volunteers Yasir Jehangir, Farooq Ahmad Malik and Shakeel Ahmad Baba, at Mini Secretariat Bandipora.
In this connection a meeting had been convened between Nodal officer COVID 19 Mehrajuddin Wani, KAS and District Representative JKYF Mohammed Anwar Malik, to prudently coordinate the relief activities for tangible results on the ground in the public interest.
JKYF had pledged to offer 10 Medical Oxygen Cylinders for public use through already available infrastructure in hospitals and health centres in the district.
District Development Commissioner Dr Owais extended gratitude and appreciated J&K Yateem Foundation’s role as a responsible voluntary Organization to supplement COVID relief activities in the public interest.
JKYF has already initiated a mass finance mobilisation campaign in favour of arranging more Medical Oxygen Cylinders, for the prudent use of COVID patients through hospitals and health centres in the district.
