BARAMULLA: A biker was killed while pillon received serious injuries in a road accident in Sheeri area of Baramulla on Thursday afternoon.
Police sources said that a motorcycle was hit by a speedy tipper in Sheeri area of Baramulla on Thursday afternoon, leaving both rider and pillion injured. The locals shifted both the youths to nearby health centre Sheeri where the biker was declared as dead while his pillon was shifted to GMC Baramulla. The deceased was identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan son of Abdul Majeed Khan, and the injured as Khalid Ahmad Sheikh both residents of Zahampora Boniyar. Meanwhile police station Sheeri registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigation is on.
