RAMBAN: In view of the recent spike in Covid positive cases, District Magistrate Ramban, Mussarat Islam, today notified Darpura and surrounding areas, in Panchayat Krawa, tehsil Banihal, as micro containment zone.
The notification was issued in view of the emergence of cluster of Covid positive cases in the hamlet. The movement of the people in and out of the containment zone shall be restricted and 100 per cent sampling will be undertaken to break the chain of transmission.
The District Administration has urged the people to cooperate with the field staff and stick to Covid protocols which shall go a long way in containing the spread of Covid-19 infection.
