MP Hasnain Masoodi takes stock of COVID-19 facilities at SDH Pampore

PAMPORE: Member of Parliament in Lok Sabha for Anantnag Parliamentary constituency, Justice (Retd), Hasnain Masoodi on Tuesday visited Sub District Hospital Pampore, PHC Awantipora, Sub District Hospital Tral, PHC Khrew and PHC Wuyan and took stock of the quality health services and medical facilities being provided to the patients.
In sub district hospital Pampore Hasnain Masoodi held a meeting with Registered medical officer Dr Mohammad Ashraf regarding COVID-19.
He said that he would try to knock the doors of every official so that Sub District Hospital Pampore has availability of all facilities so that the patients do not suffer.
While praising the efforts of health officials he said that they were battling the pandemic without caring for their lives as they are the front line workers.
He said that he wanted to check the facilities on spot and discuss the challenges that the whole world is facing with the doctors , adding that what was in line of action as Pampore SDH is the busiest hospital in the Pulwama district.
He also told Kashmir Reader that the testing capacity in the hospital was adequate and they are working with full capacity.
“There would hardly be supplies for today and tomorrow,” he said, adding that they are busy in battling against the pandemic and we must facilitate them. He further said that he had provided 35 lakh rupees to Pulwama district for two ventilators.
He told Kashmir Reader that there were oxygen supplies but that would take time and he was not sure whether the oxygen plant would be ready within 40 days which the administration has promised.

As per the information he received from health officials the vaccination has ended today.
He said that he would contact Director Health services Kashmir and meet deputy Commissioner Pulwama regarding the matter.
He told Kashmir Reader that he would try to provide the necessary medicine at the earliest as the hospital has a pivotal place in the district so that nobody would be annoyed.
He appealed to the public not to remain ignorant as she had found that out of every 40 tests 2 people turn to be positive. He also appealed to the government that Vaccines must be available as it is the biggest defence against the covid 19.
