They said that though the Managing Director JKTDC and the FACAO were well in time requested to release their arrears for the treatment of the deceased but they turned deaf ear with the result both employees died without having timely treatment due to negligence of JKTDC management. The association condemns the attitude of JKTDC management towards its retirees who all their life worked day night for the development of the corporation that too in odd times like 1990,s 2010 2016 .
The JKTDC management is aware that the retired employees are suffering badly as we have no pension so how long we shall remain dependent on others when we have our own earned money with JKTDC.
The JKTDC retired employees association urged the Managing Director JKTDC Srinagar to release all pending dues (cola arrears, leave salary arrears @7th pay commission, gratuity arrears) in their favour without further delay otherwise the association shall be compelled to come on roads which can also be extended to hunger strike if required.
