Pangotra selected as Referee in European Qualifications for upcoming Tokyo Paralympics

SRINAGAR: Atul Pangotra International Player/ Coach and International Referee, World Taekwondo and Referee Committee Member India Taekwondo received an Invitation as a Referee from World Taekwondo for the European Qualifications for upcoming Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
Atul received his selection letter from the governing body of Taekwondo in the World i.e. World Taekwondo (WT) for European Qualifications 2021 , which is scheduled to be held at Sofia, Bulgaria on 9th May, 2021. The said qualification is the final selection phase for all the Athletes and Officials who aspire to represent their respective Nations at the Paralympic Games 2021.
Last year Atul has qualified among the top 50 officials for 2020 Paralympics and also Represented India in the first two phases of Tokyo 2021 Paralympics Referee seminars held internationally. Atul Pangotra is working as Physical education Teacher in the department of youth services and sports (YSS) and is currently deputed in the JKSC as Taekwondo Coach in Srinagar.
Dr.S.M Bali Senior Vice President, India Taekwondo (IT) and also Senior Vice President J&K Taekwondo Association congratulated Atul Pangotra for his selection and made a request to the Government of J&k for allowing him and providing Financial Assistance for this Qualification.
