BARAMULLA: Baramulla police said that they arrested two more drug peddlers in Kreeri area of the district, and the total arrests this reached 17
Police said that two suspected people Aadil Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Hamid resident of Wagoora and Khalid Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Sultan Bhat resident of Allapora Vizer were arrested during a Naka checking at Vizer curve under the police station Kreeri and 250 gram Charas was recovered from their possession, police said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered against the duo and further investigation is on.
The officials in the Baramulla police said that in the past 14 days 17 drug peddlers were arrested by the police, it indicates that more and more people have been involved in drugs across the district. The police appealed to the general public to forward the information of drugs and it’s dealers to nearby police stations and help the police to nab such people who are distributing poison among the young generation.
