Plantation drive also held

PAMPORE: 110 battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a tree plantation drive in Pampore and Lethpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
A plantation drive was organized at Battalion Headquarters Lethpora in collaboration with Forest Division Awantipora.
Commandant 110 battalion CRPF Yogesh Purohit was the chief guest on the occasion, who planted a sapling to inaugurate the programme.
During the drive saplings of different varieties include deodar and Chinar trees were planted in the premises of 110 battalion headquarter Lethpora and Srinagar-Jammu highway at Ganderbal Pampore, officials told Kashmir Reader.
Among others, Officer 2nd in Command, CRPF 110 Bn, Manish Yadav, 2nd in Command DK Singh, 2nd in Command Deepak Kumar, Assistant Commandant Narendra Kumar SM, forest officials, besides CRPF also took part in the tree plantation drive.
