PAMPORE: Degree College Pampore on Saturday organized Annual Cycle Race.
The reace was held from Tulbagh to Dusoo area of Pampore in which 95 students participated.
The event was divided into 02 phases, in the 1st phase 55 boys were allowed to run from Chungi Pampore to Dussu Pampore and the race was flagged off by Prof. Shah Lateef (Convener IQAC).
Arif Rashid a student of 3rd semester bagged 1st Position, Waseem Ahmad a student of 5th Semester bags second Position and Showkat Manzoor student of 5th semester secured third position.
The girls were allowed to run after completion of the 1st phase of Road Race. Prof. Alam Ara Shah (Staff Secretary) flagged off the Road Race.
Tanseema Jan a student of 3rd Semester bagged first position followed by Mehak Bashir a students of 5th Semester and Nadia of second semester bagged third position. The Valedictory function was held in the College Campus. Principal GDC Pampore Prof. (Dr.) Seema Naz was the chief guest of the ceremony and gave away the prizes to the students.
Speaking on the prize distribution ceremony principal advised the students to take the advantage of co- curricular activities.
