ANANTNAG: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla today convened a meeting of concerned officers to chalk out and execute a comprehensive strategy for containing the fresh Covid-19 upsurge.
Dr. Singla called for formulating a comprehensive covid mitigation strategy with focus on the evident spike in cases, vaccination status and the immediate local intervention.
He directed the officers to execute proactive measures with active coordination among Health, RDD and MC officials to tackle the new Pandemic wave. Dr. Singla directed the officers to generate mass awareness and mobilisation by involving all stakeholders at micro level about the safety of vaccination, importance of testing and sampling besides adherence to SOPs vis-à-vis combating the pandemic.
Stressing on cent percent vaccination of all target persons/groups, he sought active involvement of ground level officials and the general public to achieve targets in a time bound manner.
The meeting was attended by ADC(S), ACD, ACR, SDMs, CMO, CEO, Dy CMO, MS DH, BMOs, ZEOs, EOs of MCs, and other concerned officials.
