BHADARWAH: Commissioner Survey and Land Records, J&K, Syed Shawnawaz Bukhari reviewed the functioning of Revenue Department and progress of digitization of land records, here at a meeting held the other day.
The meeting reviewed various revenue matters and other issues pertaining to the department, besides progress of the implementation of Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhadarwah Rakesh Kumar, Tehsildar Bhadarwah, Tehsildar Bhalla and other concerned officials.
The Commissioner called for accelerating the pace of digitization to realize the objective of modernization and management of land records. He urged the concerned to put into extra efforts to complete the process of digitization within the timeline. He asked them to project the problems they are facing in completing the task, if any.
It was informed that scanning and computerization of the old revenue records, besides settlement operations is in progress.
Meanwhile, the Tehsildar and other officials of the department assured to meet the targets and attended to the grievances of the public.
