REASI: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Ajay Kumar Sharma today launched Digital Book Club Reasi’s app developed by National Informatics Centre Reasi.
The app is a C2C app and is all about connecting like-minded people who are readers and want to share or exchange Physical books.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi said the core concept of the app is to connect users who want to share their books with the needy. A seeker can search for a particular book or some types of books using the search book option.
“A donor can donate any book using the Donate book option. Once a book is exchanged the donor can remove that book from his account,” he added.
In addition to the above, a user can donate his/her books to a needy person. For example, after each Academic year, many students have been promoted to the next higher classes and their books can be donated to a needy student.
The next higher version of the app will add more useful modules which further helps in the exchange of books
