110 Bn CRPF organises free medical camp in Pampore area

Pampore: A free medical camp was organised on Sunday by 110 battalion of CRPF at Tengan bypass area in Pampore. A large number of people attended the camp.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a free medical health check-up camp and distributed free medicines under the Civic Action Program in Tengan bypass, Rakshalina and Pampore and other nearby areas.
People gathered in large numbers for the health camp organised by the 110th Battalion of CRPF, officials told Kashmir Reader.
Free medicine were distributed among 300 patients including women,children and elders after their check up.
The camp was inaugurated by Yogesh Purohit, Commandant, 110 Battalion. ” The 110 Battalion has been organising free medical camps from time to time like in Lethpora, Hajipal, Baraoo and Pampore areas. There was a demand from people of Tengna bypass to organise a medical camp here,” Yogesh Purohit, Commandant 110 battalion CRPF told Kashmir Reader, adding that they received tremendous response from common people.
“The camp will run till late in the evening keeping in view large number of patients who have been attending since morning,” he said.

Awareness on promotion of healthy food Habits held in Kulgam
KULGAM: Department of Indian Systems of Medicine organised an awareness camp on promotion of healthy food habits(Poshan Pakhwada) among children here today.
The Campaign started at Chinar English Medium school Nillow Kulgam.
Dr. Abdur Rahman Rather, District Medical Officer, AYUSH Kulgam gave an awareness Speech regarding the importance of Healthy Dietary Habits for school children and also highlighted side effects of Junk Foods.
He also stressed to use the immune -boosting AYUSH medicines which are freely available at Government ISM institutions to combat Covid-19 pandemic.
A large number of students and teaching staff attended the programme.
During the camp free AYUSH medicines and Face Masks were distributed among the participants. The District Medical Officer AYUSH Kulgam further added that the department of ISM has organised more than 200 camps from 4th April 2020 till date in which free Immuno-boosting AYUSH medicines were distributed to the general public.
