SRINAGAR: In view of transfer of various Jal Shakti department functionaries within the city to Srinagar Municipal Corporation, a meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Commissioner SMC Athar Aamir Khan to discuss and work out modalities regarding tthe transfer.
The Commissioner reviewed their installations, manpower, schemes, undergoing projects supply and demands within SMC limits.
Besides Joint Commissioner Administration Syed Abul Qasim, Joint Commissioner Works Ishtiyaq Ahmed Shah , Executive Engineer water works Division Srinagar, Technical Officer to Executive Water Supply Master Plan, Estate Executive Engineer Water Supply Master Plan Division attended the meeting.
Besides this meeting also deliberated upon various issues regarding upgradation of existing set up and construction of new installations under Smart City Program within the limits of SMC.
