JK Bank Gardeners hold protest

SRINAGAR: The gardeners Working in the Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Tuesday held a protest demonstration here in Srinagar demanding release of their pending wages and issuance of the appointment orders.
Scores of the Gardeners from the Jammu and Kashmir Bank assembled here in outside the premises of the Jk bank headquarters at M. A road under the banner of JK Bank Kashmir Gardeners Srinagar chanting the slogans “we want Justice”, and ” Release our earned pending wages”.
Ghulam Hassan Reshi, one of the protesting Gardeners said that “ we are working in the Jammu and Kashmir Bank on the gardeners posts. But our appointments orders are still pending since the March 2019.”
“We are demanding the government to issue our appointment orders. So we will get regularised in the J&K Bank”, Reshi said. ” We are working in the Jammu and Kashmir bank from last 20 years. But it is unfortunate our orders is still pending from last two years,” he said.
The protesting gardeners requested the Lieutenant Governor Manoj sinha and chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank to look into the matter and issuance of the appointment orders in their favour.w
