Minhajul Quran International Jammu and Kashmir welcomes 300 new members in its fold

Srinagar: An religious organization, Minhajul Quran International Jammu and Kashmir conducted its maiden workers convention on Sunday while felicitating over 300 new members with life membership certificates spread across the valley.
The convention, which was held at the Shah-e-Hamdan Trust in Pampore on Sunday, was attended by hundreds of workers besides top religious personalities of Kashmir who delivered their speeches on the occasion.
During which, over 300 new members were felicitated with life membership certificates while receiving appreciation for their dedication towards the organization. Since the past many years, the organization has been well known for their exemplary contribution towards the uplifting of poor and needy people across the valley.
Besides this, the organization usually conducts religious events and programmes at different places of the valley to attract the youth along with others towards the right path of Islam. In the past year amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the organization provided food kits and other necessary items to hundreds of people across many districts of the valley.
The organization, currently, has its branches spread over to several districts of Kashmir valley including the Srinagar city. It runs under the patronage of prominent Islamic personality of the world, Dr Muhammad Tahirul Qadri. The event was presided over by Peer Syed Ghulam Mohammad Geelani, and coordinated by the president of Minhajul Quran J&K, Arshidul Qadri along with its General Secretary, Muhammad Ashraf. The speakers which gave their key-note speeches on the event included Dr Nisar Ahmad Mubarki, Dr Mohd Shafi Siddiqui, Showkat Hussain Keing, Mukhtar Ahmad Tantray besides several others.
