Pampore: Six girl students from Muslim Education Institute (MEI) Pampore found their place among toppers securing A1 grade.

The toppers include Anum Malik daughter of Tabassum Javid Malik, resident of Konibal Pampore, Mehvish Nabi daughter of Ghulam Nabi Mujoo, resident of Kadlabal Pampore, Aiman Jan daughter of Mohammad Akbar Shaikh, resident of Tulbagh Pampore, Muskan Shafi daughter of Mohammad Shafi Chat, resident of Namblabal Pampore, Luna Bint Mushtaq daughter of Mushtaq Ahmad Masoodi, resident of Bagandar Pampore and Faiza Dawood daughter of Dawood Ahmad Malik,resident of Lasjan.
Anum, Aiman and Mehvish got 498 marks each out of 500, Muskan 496 while Luna and Faiza secured 495 each.
The students credited their teachers and parents for the success.
” I didn’t face so much difficulty in preparing for my examinations due to COVID enforced lockdown,” Anum told Kashmir Reader, adding that she was supported by her siblings and the school management also arranged online classes for them.
“I credit my success to my teachers and parents who supported me,” she said.
“We were unable to complete the syllabus due to COVID -19. Online classes on 2G internet were less interactive,” Aiman said, adding that they were supported by their parents and siblings.
“I am particularly thankful to my sister who helped me a lot,” she told Kashmir Reader.
“It is happy moment for us that she performed well despite lockdown and restricted internet,” Ghulam Nabi, father of Mehvish said, adding that they had to take help from friends and relatives in preparing for the examinations.
Muskan Shafi told Kashmir Reader that she is happy to have performed well in the 10th examinations.
“I thank Allah and credit this success to my parents and teachers,” She said, adding that difficult period of previous year’s lockdown taught her to believe in herself.
“There is no substitute for self study , for success you have to do a lot of self study,” she said.
