Fake job racket busted in Baramulla

BARAMULLA: Days after five people running a fake job in district Baramulla held by police, the Baramulla police on Wednesday said that they busted another fake job racket in Pattan area of district.
Police said that police station Kreeri received a complaint from a resident of Tilgam village that a person of Watergam Kreeri gave him a fake appointment order of the forest department against a huge amount.
Soon after complaint Kreeri police registered a case under FIR number 10/2021 under section 420,468,471 IPC and started its investigation.
During the investigation it surfaced that the accused person issued a fake job racket in the area and he looted several people in the overall region. The police also seized scores of fake appointment orders, however the main accused person is still at large and teams of police are in his search.
Last week a fake job racket was busted by Baramulla police who were providing fake appointment orders to the people against the huge amount in the department of agriculture. In this connection police held five accused persons including two constables of railway protection force.
