BARAMULLA: The deputy commissioner Baramulla Mohammad Aijaz Asad provided a cash assistance of rupees one lakh among the next of kins of those who lost their lives in a massive fire incident that took place at Sultandeki village of Uri in this month.
In addition to the cash assistance, the DC also announced cash compensation to the tune of Rs four lakh lakh among the NoK of the deceased as permissible under the norms in vogue.
On 7th of February five people received burn injuries in Sultandagi Uri when fire broke out in hay stocks, among the five people four people including three members from a family lost their lives.
