DC Pulwama tours Pampore villages, reviews projects

Pampore: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer on Sunday visited several areas in Pampore Tehsil areas of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer alonng with Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din met several delegations in Shar Shali, Mondakpal, Ladhoo, Gundbal and adjoining villages to hear their grievances on the spot, officials told Kashmir Reader.
A visit delegations from Mondakpal village put forth their demands and grievances and lift ban on stone quarries before the Deputy Commissioner Pulwama.
The Deputy Commissioner visited Shaar Shali receiving station to take stock of the work carried on it and directed the executing agency to refrain from using sub-standard material.
The Deputy Commissioner was also apprised by a delegation about the plight of quarry owners and workers who conveyed their miseries after the ban of stone mining.
“ the deputy commissioner also visited Gundbal play field where many delegations put forward the power vows in their locality, “ said an official. Meanwhile he also reviewed works being executed by Rural Development Department at Ladho village.
The locals appreciated Deputy Commissioner Pulwama and other officials for visiting them in their villages to hear their grievance.
