BARAMULLA: The body of a woman who went missing in January was fished out from river Jehlum on Tuesday evening in Baramulla.
Police said that a lady Mubeena Begam wife of Farooq Ahmad Jatal of Paldaji Sheeri Baramulla went missing on January 20, from Sheeri market, and after a lot of searching police and family could not trace her.
They said on Tuesday evening some people spotted her body in river Jhelum near the Gantamulla Colony and they informed the local police station Sheeri. A team of police reached the spot and identified it as the missing lady. The body was later handed over to her family after all legal formalities. She was a mother of three children.
