KCCI urges effective implementation of Rs 1350 crore financial package

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce has sought Sector in Jammu and Kashmir
The President Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad has written to Nirmala Sitharaman, Finance Minister, Government of India and BVR Subrahmanyan, Chief Secretary, Government of Jammu & Kashmir to take up the following issues of urgent nature which required immediate consideration for the Budget of Jammu & Kashmir for the year 2021-2022. We have requested the Chief Secretary to take up these issues / suggestions with the GoI Ministry.
It has also appreciated the efforts put in by Manoj Sinha, the Lt. Governor, J&K for the financial package of JK. Though the two parts of the package are released but the package announced by the Government needs effective implementation. The KCC&I urged the authorities to ensure effective follow-up for the implementation of the package.
The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Inc) hopes that the J&K Government will take up these issues with GoI Ministry and would receive the consideration which they deserve on merits.
