Srinagar: The family from Dharmbugh Kralpora area of Budgam district on Friday held a protest demonstration here in Srinagar against the alleged murder of their son in August last year demanding the police to taken proper action against the culprits.
The family members and relatives of the deceased Sajad Ahmad Bhat assembled here in a press enclave and chanted the slogans in favour of their demands.
Sona-ullah Ganaie, one of the relatives of the deceased Sajad Ahmad Bhat said that on 28th August the wife of the deceased Sajad Ahmad Bhat had called us and told us on the phone, something had happened to Sajad.
“ After that the brother of the deceased Sajad and his mother reached the place and found the body of the Sajad lying outside the bed in the room. The brother of Sajad called me upon phone regarding this incident. When I also reached inside the room. I found that the body of the Sajad was lying inside the room,” he said
Ganaie said that at the same time, I contacted the concerned police station regarding the incident. The police have taken deady body of the deceased and have done the postmortem of the deceased.
” There were marks upon his body which indicated that Sajad had been murdered,” He added.
The mother of the deceased said that my son has been murdered.
“The culprits of my son have not been arrested by the police. We are demanding the police to investigate the case properly and identify those culprits who have killed my son,” She said.
The family members and relatives of the deceased requested Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and Director General of Police Dil bagh Singh to look into the matter and take proper action against the culprits who will be found guilty.
