PAMPORE: Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din, Naib Tehsildar Khrew, Bashir Ahmad, Mir Murawat Hussain and other revenue officials of Tehsil Pampore received COVID-19 vaccine shots on the second phase of Covid-19 vaccination drive at Sub-district hospital Pampore on Thursday.
In the second phase of the vaccination programme in the block under which frontline COVID warriors including revenue officials and police personnel will be vaccinated.
On 21 January vaccination drive was initiated at Sub District Hospital Pampore for various functionaries of the hospital.
Those vaccinated were kept under observation for some time.
Block Medical Officer Dr Gulzar Ahmad and Registered Medical Officer Dr Mohammad Ashraf were present at the occasion.
Talking to Kashmir Reader Tehsildar Pampore, Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din told that revenue officials of Tehsil Pampore are scheduled to receive COVID-19 vaccine shot here at Sub District Hospital Pampore.
He thanked Block Medical Officer Pampore Dr Gulzar Ahmad and Registered Medical Officer Dr Mohammad Ashraf for making adequate arrangements for the vaccination programme.
“I advise other people to come forward without any hesitation when their turn comes,” he said.
A similar vaccination programme was held at district hospital Pulwama for officials of civil administration and police department.
Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer and SSP Pulwama Ashiesh Kumar Mishra were given first two shots of the vaccine.COVID-19 Vaccination Phase seconds begins at SDH
