RAMBAN: District administration Ramban has initiated a string of control measures to keep check on spread of Avian Influenza.
As per the daily report received from Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr. Bharat Bushan, no case related to Avian Influenza has been reported from anywhere in the district.
The CAHO stated that the 10 RR teams shall be trained to tackle any emergency related to the bird flu. They shall also be provided testing kits and other equipments required to prevent the outbreak of Avian Influenza.
A Control-cum-Monitoring unit has already been established at district headquarters.
