10 Coaching centres sealed in Pampore Tehsil

PAMPORE: Tehsil Administration Pampore on Monday sealed ten coaching centres in Pampore, Ladhoo and Khrew areas of South Kashmir’s Pulwama for violating norms.
A team of revenue officials led by Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din sealed three coaching centres run by government teachers at Namblabal Pampore.
The sealed Coaching Institutes include Khanday Coaching Institute, Dream II Pampore and Apex Coaching Institute run by government teachers at Namblabal area of Saffron town Pampore, Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din (KAS) told Kashmir Reader.
In a similar drive seven unregistered coaching centres were sealed in Ladhoo and Khrew area by a team of Tehsil administration Pampore led by naib Tehsildar Khrew, Bashir Ahmad.
The sealed Coaching Institutes include LTP Coaching Institute, Wit Coaching Institute, Max Coaching Institute, Focus Coaching Institute, Growing Coaching Institute, Evershine Coaching Institute and Winter Classes Coaching Intitute in Khrew area of Pampore Tehsil.
Tehsildar Pampore Ishtiyaq Mohi-ud-Din told Kashmir Reader that there are clear directions from the education department and Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer for sealing unregistered coaching centres.
“They are unregistered because they have a deficiency which they failed to overcome.
In-addition we received complaints that some coaching centres are run by government lecturers which is not permissible,” he said, adding that they sealed 10 Coaching centres, 3 in Namblabal Pampore, 4 in Ladhoo and 3 in Khrew area of Pampore Tehsil.
He added that when these coaching centres overcome their deficiencies and they will produce registration documents they will be desealed.
He also told Kashmir Reader that they will not make students suffer.
” if any coaching centre is permanently sealed the tuition fee of students will be refunded and students will be shifted to other coaching centres,” he said.
He also said that he will be writing to deputy commissioner Pulwama against the government teachers who were found involved in private tuitioning.
