SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar- E- Taleem (ReT) Empanelled Candidates Association on Thursday held a protest demonstration here in Srinagar demanding the government to issuance of their appointment orders as per the high court directions
Scores of Empanelled Rehbar- E- Taleem aspirants from the various districts of the Kashmir valley assembled here in press enclave and chanting the slogans ” we want justice” and “we want implementation of high court directions”.
The protesting candidates said that they were Empanelled in 2015-2016 as Rehbar e Taleem Teachers. They are still waiting for their appointment orders from the government side.
Mudasir Hussain Rather, one of the protesting RET empanelled candidates from Baramulla district said that the high court as well as the district courts of the Jammu and Kashmir has given proper directions in favour of the RET empanelled candidates. But we are not aware why our orders has not been issued yet by the government.
“The department has already issued some appointment orders in favour of some candidates. We are getting confused, how the department has already issued orders in favour of the pick and choose candidates. Why the department is delaying our appointment orders in favour of the selected candidates,” Rather Said.
He said that there are nearly 400 RET empanelled candidates across Jammu and Kashmir whose appointment orders have not been issued yet by the government.
The protest RET empanelled candidates said that most of the candidates have crossed the age bar. Due to age criteria in the other government jobs. They can’t apply for the other jobs in Jammu and Kashmir which is another serious concern for them.
The protesting candidates also requested the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to look into the matter and issuance of appointment orders in favour of the RET empanelled candidates.
