Awatipora: Full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day Parade 2021 was held at District Police Lines Awantipora in which Tehsildar Awantipora Mohammad Maqbool unfurled the National flag, inspected the parade and took salute at the march past, police officials said.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora Zaffar Husson Shawl-KAS, Superintendent of police Awantipora Tahir Saleem-JKPS , Dy. SP DAR DPL Rashid Akbar and other senior officers of civil administration, police department were present on the occasion.
The parade was commanded by SDPO Tral Aejaz Ahmad – JKPS.
The march past was presented by the contingents of CRPF, SSB,J&K Armed police, J&K Police and Home Guard.
On the occasion, rehearsal of colourful cultural programs were presented by the artists.
