Baramulla: Burglars on Saturday night struck in Kunzar area of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district and looted dozens of mobile phones and other electronic accessories from a mobile phone shop.
Locals said that burglars broke the lock of a mobile phone shop “Wani Sales” in Kunzar Tangmarg market and ran with dozens of cell phones, batteries, memory cards, chargers and other electronic goods.
Khalid Hussain Wani the owner of the showroom told reporters that several shops were looted in the market in the past and some burglars were also held by police, but the business community wondered after burglars looted shops in the market frequently, police are not taking serious steps to stop this.
