Market checking held in Uri, shop sealed, 1550 fined

Baramulla: A shop was sealed while rupees 1550 fined from different shopkeepers in border town Uri, during a market checking drive held on Saturday.
Officials said that following several complaints from the general public a market checking drive was conducted by the administration in which a Kiryana shop was sealed while as rupees 1550 was fined from the earning traders.
The checking team was headed by sub divisional magistrate (SDM) Uri Riyaz Ahmad Malik who was accompanied by SDPO Uri Junaid Wali and several other officials took part in the checking drive. Several hotels were also checked by the officials and all the traders were warned that if anyone finds over pricing of commodities, strict action will be taken against them.
