SRINAGAR: The youth of Jammu and Kashmir should avail benefits from the different government sponsored schemes by actively participating in developmental projects in the union territory, said BJP Minority Morcha j&k chief spokesperson, Hilal Jan.
Jan said people have embraced the present political landscape of newly created Union territory, by participating in the ongoing first ever DDC elections and appealed to them to join the developmental mission led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
He also appealed party leaders to spread the information about different government sponsored projects and schemes, which would benefit them.
He further said the government has framed scholarships, fellowships and social welfare schemes for the student community, who should come forward to avail the benefits. Similarly, Ayushman Bharat scheme was launched to provide the free medical treatment upto five lakh rupees.
“Scores of public welfare schemes have been launched for the welfare of general public,” he said, adding, this can be oly possible only after approaching the government offices. Jan said youth must join hands to strengthen the nation.
