Emporium employees hold protest, demand release of pending salaries

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Art & Emporium Employees on Thursday held a protest demonstration here in Srinagar demanding release of their pending salaries.
Scores of the employees from Jammu and Kashmir Art & Emporium especially women’s assembled here in press enclave and chanting slogans “we want Justice,” and ” release our pending wages”.
The protesting employees said they are without salaries from eight months and are performing their duties regularly.
“If we are performing our duties regularly why our salaries has not been released yet,” said one of the protesting women employees,” she said
“We are facing lot of problems in our families due non- availability of money as our salaries is still pending,” she said.
The protesting employees requested the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to look into the matter and release of their pending salaries.
