Army’s Torna Battalion organize online career counseling sessions in Boniyar

SRINAGAR: The Indian Army remains deeply committed towards the noble cause of ensuring brighter future of the Kashmiri youth and converting challenges into opportunities. In furtherance to its endeavors to support the local youth of remote areas of Boniyar and enable them to choose suitable Career and pursue it successfully Torna Battalion under the aegis of Pir Panjal Brigade has taken the initiative to organize online career counseling sessions from Saturday wherein volunteers from Pune based ASEEM Foundation would be conducting the career guidance sessions for the students duely incorporating the Psychological assessment sessions of students to gauge their initial capability and suggest the most suitable career option to the students.
The first overview session was conducted at Boniyar wherein 35 students including 18 Girl students attended the session. The session aimed at giving an insight to various career options Medicine Engineering, Civil Services Armed Forces and Fine arts. The event culminated with a feedback session during which the students and their parents expressed their gratitude towards the Army for this initiative. The students were enthusiastic since this would be assisted to choose their Career with greater diligence and the winter months will also be gainfully utilized.
