Cluster University students seek online exams, reduced syllabus

SRINAGAR: The students of the.Cluster University on Monday held a protest demonstration here, demanding online exams and reduction in their Syllabus
Scores of the students including boys and girls from the Cluster University assembled here in press enclave and held placards and banners in their hands which reads
“We want justice”, ” online classes, online exams”, ” we want reduction in syllabus”, ” Health comes first”, ” don’t play students with future” and ” Pandemic is for all of us”.
Sumariya Yousuf Malik, one of the protesting students from Cluster University said that we are demanding cluster university to conduct our in the online mode and Reduction in the Syllabus.
Another protesting girl student, who did not want to mention his name said that if our classes were conducted in the online mode, why the exams cannot be conducted online also.
” In one year at least two semesters should be completed as per the academic calendar of the university. But we have not given any semester exams due to which our academic year is getting delayed,” she said.
” If the university will conduct the offline exams, it will take a lot of time to complete offline exams and our 2nd semesters will also be delayed in the offline mode of examinations,” She added.
The protesting students said that they have also requested the concerned administration of the university to conduct their exams online, but unfortunately we didn’t get any response from the university.
They also requested the vice chancellor of the cluster university to conduct their exams online immediately and reduce in the syllabus.
