SHOPIAN: The District Administration Shopian today dispatched 32 polling parties along with material to their respective polling stations at Hermain-I and Hermain II, Shopian.
The twin constituencies of the district are scheduled to go for polls under Phase-V of District Development Council (DDC)/ Panchayat by-elections on Thursday.
The polling staff along with material was dispatched under the overall supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer, Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin and Nodal Officer Training, Dr Mohammad Amin.
On the occasion, Nodal Officer Covid-19 in presence of Chief Medical Officer distributed Covid Kits, Sanitizers, masks, gloves and other important gears related to Covid-19 safety among the polling parties.
The Polling parties were emphasized to strictly adhere to COVID-19 SOPs and ensure use of masks, sanitizers and uniforms during duties.
Among others, Nodal Officers, Returning Officers, Assistant Returning Officers were present.
