Baramullla: A medical camp was organised by Wussankhui Army Camp of 29 RR Bn on Tuesday  for the people of Ghat Gopalan area of Palhalan Pattan and adjoining villages with an aim to provide medical assistance to the villagers.
The Medical camp commenced with a talk by RMO  29 RR on measures for protection from COVID-19 pandemic and importance of Community and Personal Hygiene for a Healthy Society, followed by detailed health check up of all patients by RMO 29 RR.
A total of 263 people to include 139 ladies  and 64 children were treated and provided with free medicines.
Overwhelming response received from the people for the event.  They requested for such more events benefiting the local populace . The noble gesture of the Army was appreciated by one and all especially elders and ladies.
