BARAMULLA: Three houses were gutted completely while two others have been partially damaged in a fire incident in Naharpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday late evening.
Officials said that fire broke out in a double story house of Ghulam Nabi Shah of Naharpora Sopore and spread to nearby houses of Abdul Majeed Shah and Riyaz Ahmad Shah, all the three houses were gutted completely till the fire tenders reached the spot.
They said that two other residential houses of Ali Mohammad Shah and Bashir Ahmad Shah also were partially damaged in the incident.
The local people said that fire tenders along with Sopore police and local people of the area doused the flames and save the other houses and property. Meanwhile, Sopore police register a report and start its investigation.
