Met predicts dry weather for next 10 days

Srinagar-Jammu highway to remain closed for maintenance work today

SRINAGAR: The meteorological department here on Thursday predicted dry weather for next 10 days
Deputy Director of Meteorological Department ,Dr Muqthar Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that for next 10 days there is no possibility of rainfall.
“The weather will remain dry up to 8th of November in Kashmir valley,” he added
However there will be partial cloud cover in next coming days,” he further added.
On Thursday Srinagar witnessed a cloudy day but there was no downpour with the sun shining occasionally.
According to traffic department the there will be no vehicular movement on Jammu and Srinagar Highway from either side in view of maintenance/ repairing of the road
We’re as per the official subject to the fair weather and good road conditions, in Mughal road only downward traffic only Load carrier’s carrying fresh fruits, vegetables shall be allowed from Herpora ( Shopian) from 11 am to 4 pm hours Towards Poonch . There will be no vehicular shall after cut off timing . Moreover, no passenger vehicle or pedestrian shall be allowed on Mughal road
However, subject to the fair weather conditions only essential commodities vehicles shall be allowed to ply on Srinagar – Sonamarg – Gumari road Leh Kargil road.
