BARAMULLA: The body of class 8th student of Sopore who allegedly committed suicide after jumped into river Jhelum on has been retrieved .
A police sources said that body of youth identified as Shahid Nazir Changal son of Nazir Ahmad Changal resident of Ahadbab crossing Sopore jumped into river Jhelum and committed suicide on October 21, from bypass bridge Sopore, from the time police, locals and teams of SDRF and Indian navy were put into service to fish out the body.
On Wednesday morning the dead body was retrieved one kilometer away from the incident spot, and handed over to his family after legal formalities.
