BARAMULLA: A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel killed himself in Handwara on Sunday night, officials said.
They said that an SSB personnel identified as Amit Kumar a resident of Uttar Pradesh posted at 37 battalion SSB Vilgam shot himself dead with his service rifle on Sunday night.
He was immediately shifted to nearby hospital however he was declared brought dead on arrival.
Handwara police start the investigation of the case.
