Two specially-abled students from DPS Srinagar qualify Class XII merit

SRINAGAR: Two specially abled students of Learning Resource Centre of Delhi Public School Srinagar namely Shafin Abdullah and Iflah Niyaz of Class XII have secured First division in the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Board Exams (2019-2020). Overcoming their special needs, they managed to score good merit with their positive approach and hard work. Their patience and persistence has finally paid off.
The Vice Principal Shafaq Afshan extended her heartiest congratulations to the successful students and said “It reflects the immense pride and effort we put in at the school to ensure our special needs children get a chance to live a life of dignity and equality.” The Chairman Vijay Dhar also congratulated the students and said “We share in the joy of students and their success is an immense milestone in our endeavour towards equality”
