Srinagar: Basketball Championship organised by Srinagar District Basketball Association concluded here on Sunday at Gindun Stadium Rajbagh.
In boys category “Remembering Kobe” emerged victorious while team “Real G” emerged as runners up.
In the girls category team “net rippers” lifted the winners trophy while team “hoopstars” emerged as runners up.
The Most valuable player in boys category was given to Mujtaba while in girls Shezan Wani was declared as MVP.
Around 100 boys and girls participated in the tournament.
The motive behind organising this tournament was to revive the game of Basketball in the valley after lockdown.
The tournament was organised under the supervision of Mir Mursaleen and the event was covered by the ZmK collective.
