SRINAGAR: Sports Council Football Academy Srinagar beat Kashmir Avengers Football Club by 2-0 in their league match of Downtown Football tournament played at Islamia College ground on Wednesday.
SCFA played attacking football from the word go and scored two back to back goals through Shiraz Ahmad and Parvez in the first half of the game.
In the second half Kashmir Avengers Football Club tried their level best to score but couldn’t penetrate the strong defence of SFA when the final whistle blew the score line remained 2-0 in favour of SFA.
Shiraz was adjudged man of the match for his outstanding performance.
