DG YSS flags off trekking expedition

SRINAGAR: Director General Youth Services and Sports Dr Saleem ur Rehman Sunday flagged off Residential Trekking Camp.
The camp consists of 86 trekkers of different schools of Srinagar. The 10 days Residential trekking camp is organised by Youth Services and sports office Srinagar.
On the Flag off Occasion DG advised the students to enjoy their life in natures beautiful spot Gulmarg.
DG stressed upon the students to avoid much mobile usage and go through the history of Gulmarg and the Alumni trekkers, golfers and other adventurists.
He advised the students while trekking try to keep the environment neat and clean by not throwing polythene and other things which pollutes the nature.
While addressing the students DG YSS said that YSS will continue to organise such trekking camps for all students of all districts of UT J& K.
Keeping in view COVID -19 DG YSS ordered the Organisers to make ensure that enough sanitizers and other medicines will be available during the camp.
The first batch consists of only boys and the second will follow by girls. Total duration of trekking camp 10days 5days fir boys & 5 days for girls.
The others present on the occasion were Joint Director Kashmir Bashir Ahmad, Accounts Officer Directorate Abdul Qayoum, District Officer Srinagar Balbir Singh, and senior officials of YSS department.
