BUDGAM: Krishi Vigyan Kendra Budgam and SKUAST-Kashmir held 02 day webinar on “Feed and Fodder Management of Livestock during winters”. The webinar commenced on September 18, 2020 and culminated today, here.
During the inaugural session of the webinar, Director Extension, SKUAST-K, Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad, stressed upon importance of quality feed and fodder for livestock.
Speaking on the occasion, Dean F. V. Sc & A.H SKUAST-K, Prof. Mohd Ashraf Paul who was guest of honour the occasion, emphasized on underutilised forage crops as future smart crops as a solution to feed and fodder scarcity in the valley.
The two days webinar which commenced on September 18 was attended by about 70 Veterinary Assistant Surgeons, Scholars and scientists.
During the webinar, Deputy Director Research, DIL, Sheep Husbandry Department Kashmir, Dr Mohammad Maroof Shah, Dr Syed Ishrat Shakeel, Iqbal Hussain Mirza, Dr Sheeraz Saleem Bhat, Dr Aijaz Ahmad Dar, Dr Javid and Dr Ajaz Ahmad Ganie delivered the lectures.
Meanwhile, AD Extension SKUAST-K, Prof. Masood Saleem Mir complimented the team KVK Budgam for the webinar.
