UDHAMPUR: The Department of Horticulture has established an Aloe-Vera processing unit, here at Fruit Preservation and Utilization Extension Centre, Horticulture Complex.
The facility is working on modern scientific lines for extraction of Aloe-Vera juice/gel using state of the art machinery from leading food business stakeholders. All the farmers/Orchardists who are producing or intend to avail the facility to processing and value addition of Aloe-Vera can contact this office on all working days.
Further the Department has urged the unemployed educated youth of the district to associate with this office for entrepreneurship opportunities in the value addition of Aloe-vera.
