Pulwama: A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Parigam village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday evening.
The gunfight followed searches by Police, army and CRPF as per an official.
He said that as the joint teams of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated, triggering an encounter.
As per sources, two to three militants are believed to be trapped in the area. (KNO)
