Baramulla: A minor boy drowned into river Jhelum in north Kashmir’s Uri town on Wednesday afternoon.
Sources said that a group of boys were taking a bath in the river on Wednesday to beat the heat in the Gingle area of Uri, and among them one boy drowned into the river.
The boy was identified as Moomin Javed son of Javed Ahmad Chalkoo resident of Silikote Uri, it is said that he was at his relatives home at Gingle.
Soon after the accident police and rescue teams reached to trace the body, however, the body was retrieved yet.
