BARAMULLA: Department of Wildlife caught a black bear at Ferozpora village of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials in the wildlife department said that some locals of Check Ferozpora village spotted a black bear at their village and they informed the nearby wildlife office.
The officlas reached the spot and tracked the animal before tranquilising it and later puting him inside a cage for relocation.
The bear was caught after several people including some women were injured in different bear attacks across Tangmarg. The locals said that there is not a single but groups of black bears roaming in that area and attacking the civilian people and animals of the area.
