Baramulla: A non local was arrested by police on Tuesday in a burglary case in north Kashmir’s police district Sopore. The police said that all the stolen items have also been recovered from him.
Police in a statement said that, police station Sopore received a written complaint from one Ishfaq Ahmad Shah son of Abdul Satar Shah of Noorbagh Sopore stating there in that his workshop located at 6- way Nowpora has been damaged particularly main gate and various items including tyres, batteries and other equipments have been stolen by some unknown burglars.
Upon receiving this information a case FIR number 201/2020 under section 457, 380 was registered in police station Sopore and a manhunt was launched to nab the culprits, various places were raided and suspects were taken into custody.
During sustained interrogation one person namely Mohammad Rufsana son of Sadiq Ali of Zakir Wali Bari West Bengal confessed the commission of crime and on his disclosure stolen property has been recovered” police said.
